BARAKA, Amiri (LeRoi JONES). THE BLACK NATION. POSITION OF THE
REVOLUTIONARY COMMUNIST LEAGUE (M-L-M) ON THE AFRO-AMERICAN NATIONAL
QUESTION. [Newark, NJ ?]: [Revolutionary Communist League (M-L-M)],
[@1976]. First Edition. Stapled light blue wraps (8-1/2" x 11")
consisting of mimeographed sheets, 60 pages. This is Baraka's own copy
with the bottom of the front cover SIGNED by him with the notations: "By
the/Afro-American Commission/of RCL/Amiri Baraka,/Chairman" and the
addition of, apparently, the names of three co-authors and/or members of
the board. The Revolutionary Communist League (Marxist-Leninist-Mao tse
Tung) evolved from CAP (Congress of Afrikan People) after it
disintegrated in conflict between the Marxists and the Black
Nationalists. Founding the Revolutionary Communist League was a
reflection on Baraka's move away from nationalism to a Marxist position.
Minor soiling. Near Fine. (#020170)        $1,500
