Company, Inc., (1974). First Edition. INSCRIBED and SIGNED on the front
endpaper with a quote from W. B. Yeats: "For Ilse and Howdy/with my
love/M/'Think where man's glory most begins and ends--/And say my glory
was I had such friends'/W. B. Yeats/May 1974/May Sarton." Ilse-Margret
Vogel was a writer of children's books who was married to noted artist
Howard (Howdy) Knotts, who illustrated Sarton's PUNCH'S SECRET.
Offsetting to front endpaper slightly affecting Sarton's inscription;
small stain on rear pastedown. Very Good in a Very Good dustwrapper.
