A Lesson in Squash Racquets by Harry L. Cowles.
Published by the author, no date but probably early 1930s. It should
be noted that “squash racquets” is the game, not simply the racquet
itself. Mr. Cowles was New England Squash Racquet Champion of 1922,
Coach of the National Squash Racquets Teams in 1925, 1926, & 1927, and
an Individual Champion in 1925, 1926, 1927, & 1928. He was also
Instructor and Coach of the Tennis and Squash Racquets at Harvard
University. When he found time to write this handy little book is a
bit of a mystery, but he eventually became a member of the Squash Hall
of Fame. Uncommon.
Softcover. 5”x7.25”. 40 pages, black & white and line illustrations.
Minor soil, some cellar odor. $65
