Dear Friends, Customers, & Colleagues:

We are pleased to announce that we are growing our business.

Mark Funke, Bookseller acquired the entire rare book inventory of
Kenneth Karmiole, Bookseller, Inc.

Ken has been in business since 1976 and specializes in pre-1800
scholarly and collectible books. His deep stock complements our
current, mostly modern, material.

Although Ken will remain active in the book trade and the ABAA, he
intends to dedicate more of his time to philanthropy. Ken provides
support to various libraries and educational programs including the
Rare Book School, the Book Club of California, and endowments at UCLA
and UC Santa Barbara.

The books were recently transported from Santa Monica to Mark’s new
office in Mill Valley. We are located just a few miles north of San
Francisco and welcome visitors by appointment. The office is
conveniently located in the center of town near some great
