Strasburg Astronomical Clock 19th Century Admission Ticket for Scholars.

"The Wonderful Apostolic Astronomical Strasburg Clock - This ticket
and 5 cents will admit a Scholar any afternoon this week, and next
Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.”.

The Strasbourg astronomical clock, housed in the Cathedrale Notre-Dame
of Strasbourg, is the third clock there, and was christened in 1843.
Its main attraction is an automata procession of figures of Christ and
the Apostles every day at solar noon, while a life-size automata cock
crows three times. The clock also features a perpetual calendar,
orrery, a display of the position of the Sun and Moon, and solar and
lunar eclipses.

Card. About 2.5”x4”. Minor soil, light wear. $45
