Hand-written, hand-ruled 19th century “spreadsheet” entitled
“List of American Vessels, wrecked or afloat, at Gibraltar in the gale of 
the 6th & 7th of Decembert 1825. 5 columns: 1) Vessels Named; 2): Masters’ Names; 3) Where From
4): Where Bound; 5) (Untitled commentary on level of damage (eg. “Lost with part of her cargo”;
Loss of Cables & Anchor; Much Damaged/Since Sailed. One entry, for the General Soublette, described as “from a cruise”
but other records claim vessel acting as a privateer, reads: "Cast away part of the crew in the  (illegible) by the( illegible)"

The document bears neither signature nor date, but appears contemporary to events described.
