de l'Art indépendant, 1893. First Edition. Calf-backed marbled boards 
with gilt-decorated spine with the owner's initials "J. D." stamped in 
gilt at the base; top edge trimmed, others uncut; marbled endpapers; 
original front and rear wraps bound in. Copy #275 of 275 copies (from a 
total edition of 300) with an ORIGINAL LITHOGRAPH by Odilon Redon as 
frontispiece protected by a tissue guard. INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the 
author on a front blank. Text slightly browned due to the poor quality 
of the paper; the lithograph not affected. Rubbing to the spine with 
loss of the spine label. Very Good and uncommon. (#020531)        $1,500
