A Full Report of the Debate in the House of Commons, on the 25th and 26th of February, and 1st and 2nd of March, 1813, on the Catholic Question. London: Printed for J. J. Stockdale, 1813. First edition; 8vo (23 cm) in original publisher's boards; 420, 8 pp.; with the publisher's catalogue bound in at the end. Boards bumped and rubbed, spine chipped at the foot and crown, front hinge cracked but holding; some dust-soiling to the edges of the text block, mild toning to the leaves, else quite clean and sound.

The transcript of the furious debate on the Catholic Relief Bill of 1813, just one episode in the centuries-long debate over Catholic Emancipation in England. The speakers included George Canning, Henry Grattan, Robert Peel, William Plunket, and Samuel Whitbread. Despite the oratorical fireworks, the bill was ultimately "lost in committee."
