English edition of one of the classic 16th century herbals. It is richly ornamented by fine woodcut illustrations of the plants
along with descriptions of their properties. The first English herbal to be printed in England did not appear until 1586, when
Ninian Newton produced his version based on this work. Disbound. Pamphlet.
