Gene Krupa/Drummers Scrapbook (15” x 11”) from the 1940’s,  absolutely loaded with articles about Gene Krupa and other drummers and jazz musicians of the day, as well as their “chirpers” — women who sang with the various bands.

The album a loving if somewhat fanatic homage to drumming, drummers “(aka tubmen” or  “skin-beaters”) and belonged to a  military-based drummer and bandleader named Joseph Zito ("Joe Zito and The Rhythm Kings"), who was once  briefly married to Hollywood starlet June Haver.

Sxty-five pages packed full of article clips,  and memorabilia, 
pasted-in flyers,  etc., tmany loose articles and other pieces from drumming magazines, etc. laid in.
