1851 French Empire Fashion Print of Young Woman in a Helmet-Like Tall
Hat & Empire Dress.
A lovely partially hand-colored engraved print from an unknown French
source, dated in pencil in the margin, 1851. The young woman wears a
hat that needs to be recreated for the Oscar Night red carpet...
About 9”x13”. Some soil and wear, some edge chips, tear on the lower
right edge. $25, plus $3 shipping.

Standard courtesies to institutions and the trade; Postage charges are

We regret that because of costly new VAT requirements and charges
recently imposed by the UK and EU which we do not have the staff
to deal with, we have had to suspend overseas shipments for the

We accept returns if we are notified within ten days of your receipt -please
ask for full instructions and terms. Massachusetts residents must add
6.25% state sales tax.
