HUDSON, W. H. GREEN MANSIONS. A ROMANCE OF THE TROPICAL FOREST. New
York: Limited Editions Club, 1935. Octavo (6-5/8" x 10-3/8") bound in
half natural French linen and sides lithographed from finger-paint
designs by Edward A. Wilson, 224 pages. Introduction by William Beebe.
Illustrated in color by Edward A. Wilson. Of a total edition of 1500
copies SIGNED by the artist on the colophon page, this is one of only 15
Presentation Copies with the publisher's blindstamp attesting to such on
the colophon page where instead of a number the initials "G.M." are
handwritten. Acquired directly from the publisher's files, and most
likely the publisher George Macy's very own copy. Laid in is an index
card with a printed correction on it. Based on the page number cited, it
is likely for the edition from which the text for this edition was
taken. Near Fine, lacking the slipcase. (#016356)        $90
