even without the last 7 plates, a tour-de-force of Art Deco sculpture,  
at an attractive price:

Le Bas-Relief du Musee des Colonies

Published in Paris by Librairie d’Art Louis Reynaud in 1931.

A pictorial survey of the elegant and dramatic bas-reliefs sculpted  
for the Palais de la Porte Doree in Paris at the Paris Colonial  
Exposition. They were designed by french sculptor Alfred Janniot  
between 1928 and 1931. Janniot’s work was also used at Rockefeller  
Center.

10”x13” card folder holding 59 (of 66) loose numbered plates.  
**Lacking 7 plates and the 4-page introductory text**. Folder rubbed  
and worn, one battered cloth tie. Plates with scattered minor soil.   
$150.
