Exposition D'Art Americain. John S. Sargent, R.A. Dodge MacKnight,
Winslow Homer, Paul Manship.
[condition issues]

Published in Paris by the Association Franco-Americaine d’Expositions
de Peinture et de Sculpture in 1923.

The catalog to an exhibition which was held in Paris from May 18 to
June 25, 1923, at the Hotel de la Chambre Syndicale de la Curiosite et
des Beaux-Arts, as a benefit for the Union des Femmes de France. The
text is French, with some English translation, and an introduction by
Royal Cortissoz. A scarce catalog which is why we offer it, despite
its less than ideal condition.

Paper covers. 7.25”x10.75”, 47 pages, black & white illustrations. In
deplorable condition. Stained, water-waved, with some adhesion damage
in the margins (not affecting text or images) and one page edge
damaged (not affecting the text), very slight cellar odor. Oh yes, and
ex-institutional with stamps. $40
