octavo volumes (5-7/8" x 8-3/4") bound in cloth decorated with
lithographic drawings by Barnett Freedman drawn on and printed from the
stones. Illustrated with color autolithographs drawn on the stone (225
separate stones!) by Barnett Freedman and printed from the stones at the
Curwen Press. Translated by Constance Garnett. Copy #323 of 1500 SIGNED
by the artist on the colophon page. Moderate foxing to first and last
few pages and bulked text edges; spines evenly sunned. Near Fine,
lacking the plain dustwrappers, in an intact, Very Good slipcase.
