Contemporary half calf, scuffed, peeling and patched externally, and hinges reinforced internally. Leather spine split but holding. Red leather title label. MISSING any map originally issued with this book, and missing 3 leaves at end of Part 2 (PP. 227-234).        Text very clean, albeit with occasional spotting especially to first part.  Solid reading copy.

Loskiel, an eloquent preacher and a good writer, was presiding bishop of the northern district of the American province of the Moravian Church (1802–1811). This work is important for the history of Native Americans. GOOD ONLY. Leather-bound.
