19th Century Handwritten ‘Passing Away’ Manuscript

A curious 31-line semi-poetic musing on the transience of, well,
everything. Being Victorian, the author of course concentrates on the
transience of human life, but the seasons and flowers also make an
appearance. There are a number of pencil corrections to the ink text,
and the production is signed “L.A. Manning” at the end. Apparently
original, and well thought-out.

Single sheet. 7.5”x9.5”. Folds, some soil. $35, plus $3 shipping.
