1890s D.L. Risley Long Island New Jersey Land Developer Real Estate Papers.

An interesting small collection of 1890s-1910s documents related to  
various building tracts being developed or sold by D.L. Risley in  
Hauppauge, Long Island, Pleasantville, New jersey, Chicora, South  
Carolina, and several unknown locations. This lot includes- 1896  
letter from lawyers regarding a Hauppauge property title; 5 8”x13  
charts of lots in Tract 16 in Hauppauge Long Island owned by D.L.  
Risley (all worn, torn, chipped & dipped); 1901 Pleasantville Land Co.  
(Philadelphia) bill to Risley; 1892 mortgage from Daniel Risley to  
Isaac Risley regarding land plots in Pleasantville, New Jersey; letter  
& map regarding Lot 146, location unknown; handwritten note describing  
a tract of land, location unknown; small card showing a map of 3  
parcels of land; 5 pages pf carbon typescripts regarding land, one on  
the D.L. Risley, Real Estate Operator, though they are in tattered,  
frazzled, and fragile condition and hard to read as well;  a 10”x12”  
card showing lots on Tract 37 in Chicora, South Carolina (chipped,  
battered, soiled, stained and wretched).

In varying conditions, as noted. Mostly not so wonderful.  $40, plus  
$3 shipping.
