Stockdale. 1815.  First edition.  Lg. 4to.  (2),viii,460pp.  With the half-title,  Illustrated with a total of 23 plates, complete, consisting of 2 engraved maps, 20 hand-colored plates (travel views) and 1 uncolored plate.  With 1 half-page text illustration.  Bound in contemporary straight grained red morocco, finely rebacked at an early date, spine to match the covers, with ornate gilt tooling.  Title with an old oval rubber stamp "Oddfellow's LibraryAssociation, San Francisco" which also appears in a few locations in the text.  There are no stamps on the plates.  Some occasionaltext foxing.  A.E.G.
