Lot of 1970s Helaine Victoria Women’s Postcards Catalog Etc.
An interesting lot of Helaine Victoria Enterprises historical feminist
material from the mid-1970s. Included are a catalog which appears to
date around 1977; 12 individual oversized postcards (Amelia Earhart,
Emily Carr, Belle Starr, Sophia G. Hayden, Gertrude Stein & Alice B.
Toklas, Frances Willard, Sojourner Truth, Susan B. Anthony, Officers
of the WCTU, Two Irishwomen, Radclyffe Hall, and Fighting for the
Vote), a set of 6 Belle Starr cards in the original unopened plastic
envelope; an opened plastic envelope with a cover sheet for Set 3,
with nothing else present; an original mailing envelope.
Jocelyn Helaine Cohen & Nancy Victoria Taylor Poore founded Helaine
Victoria in 1973, producing postcards, posters, bookplates, notepaper
and many more items, often printed on a hand-fed press, featuring
historical feminist figures, groups, or events.
Minor scattered wear and light soil except for the mailing envelope
which is pretty much trashed. $60

to deal with, we have had to suspend overseas shipments for the

We accept returns if we are notified within ten days of your receipt -please
ask for full instructions and terms. Massachusetts residents must add
6.25% state sales tax.
