DICTORUM FACTORUMQUE MEMORABILIUM EXEMPLA..... Paris: Roberti Stephani. 1544 (colophon:1545). 8vo. 446,(24)pp. with the final blank. Estienne woodcut device on title. 18th. century calf, plainly rebacked in matching calf. With the gilt arms of Michael Wodhull (1678-1754) on the front cover. Calf covers rubbed, and corners are worn. Title page a bit dirt soiled. With Wodhull's note on the front endpaper, "London, June 9, bought at the Porson sale". A scarce title which was not in the Schreiber catalog.

Wodhull and Richard Porson were important classical scholars and both built important libraries. Wodhull was particularly well known for his early printed books.
