GIBBONS, Virginia. THE CONNAUGHT SUITE II. [Ireland], [1993]. First 
Edition. Portfolio with loose etchings (17-1/2" x 15"; image size: 
11-1/2" x 8-3/4") laid in, each SIGNED by the artist with her initials 
and dated "Ireland 93" at the lower right and numbered at the left below 
the image. Includes a complete suite of 16 ORIGINAL ETCHINGS, each 
numbered 3 of only 4 created. Gibbons, an American artist, based the 
etchings on ideas and images collected in the West of Ireland. In 
addition to the complete suite, there is also an incomplete suite, 
numbered 2 of 4, comprising 11 of the 16, lacking #s 8, 9, 10, 11, and 
13. Also included are 3 lithographs: "Conductor" I, II, and III (16-1/2” 
x 13”; image size “12 x 9”), each SIGNED in full in the lower right and 
dated 92 and numbered in the lower left: two of them 2/6 and one 1/6. 
Small tear to margin of title page; all prints are Fine. Fine in a Near 
Fine wood-patterned printed board portfolio with a cloth backstrip and a 
metal clasp device, all contained in the original mailing carton.
