Edition limited to 750 numbered copies.

“The production, taxation, distribution, and consumption of food and  
drink; their use and abuse in all times and among all peoples”. Not a  
bibliography in the strictest sense, but rather  a catalogue of Mr.  
Simon’s own extensive library of more than 1,600 items. “Andre Simon  
(1877–1970) was a French-born wine merchant, gourmet, and prolific  
writer about wine. Hugh Johnson describes him as ‘the charismatic  
leader of the English wine trade for almost all of the first half of  
the 20th century, and the grand old man of literate connoisseurship  
for a further 20 years’."

Hardcover. 7.5x10, 196 pages, black & white illustrations, dust  
jacket. Jacket with soil, wear, a few rips and a hole. Book with minor  
soil, light wear.  $100

We regret that because of costly new VAT requirements and charges
recently imposed by the UK and EU which we do not have the staff
to deal with, we have had to suspend overseas shipments for the
time being.

We accept returns if we are notified within ten days of your receipt -please
ask for full instructions and terms. Massachusetts residents must add
6.25% state sales tax.
