The Gentleman's Magazine: and Historical Chronicle. For the Year MDCCXCV [1795]. Volume LXV [65]. Part the First [and] Part the Second. London: Printed by John Nichols and sold by Eliz. Newberry, 1795. Twelve monthly issues (Jan.-Dec.), plus the supplement, volume title, indices and preface. Two volumes, 8vo, in early/period calf-backed marbled boards, gilt-lettered morocco spine labels; [4], 536, [14] p.; [2], [537]-1115, [19] p.; with 33 copper-engraved plates, one of which is folding.

The PLATES (with accompanying text) include: The Public Entry of the Turkish Embassador[sic] into London, January, 1795, with a View of Buckingham House; Elevation of the Almshouses founded by Campe at Friarn Barnet; Views of: the Church at Brampton, the Church of Staindrop in Durham, the Bridge at Dumfries, the Ruins of Boyle Abbey, Amberley Castle, the great Barn at Calcot, Putley Cross, Matlock Torr, the Church and Rectory at Eckington, Drumoland Castle, the Old and New Churches at Paddington; with many other views, portraits, coins, inscriptions, antiquities, curiosities, etc..
