Trapp. 1778.  8vo. (6),154,(8)pp. plus copper engraved frontispiece and 47 emblematic plates, each within a border and each with an engraved descriptive title.  Cont. marbled boards, nicely rebacked in polished calf and red morocco spine label. Manuscript notes on front endpapers.  Boards are somewhat rubbed, especially the corners.  Some minor soiling/foxing to the text but overall a nice very good copy, complete with 48 plates.

This work is often found bound second with Quarles's EMBLEMS of 1777, but also was published by itself.  No other copy currently on-line for sale.
