MODERN FIREARMS: PARTS AND ASSEMBLY, VOLUME ONE.
Montezuma, IA: (s.n.), (1960). Full cloth, Quarto, vi, 1059 pages, black &
white photographs, drawings. Very good, No dust jacket.
      Extensive reference to the technical and mechanical features of
American firearms, including complete specifications of hundreds of pins,
screws and helical springs. The information was painstakingly gathered from
the manufacturers as well as from 4 Department of the Army Technical manuals
reproduced here. An essential gunsmith's reference to pistols, revolvers,
rifles, and shotguns. States "Volume One," but was published independently
and it is unclear that there ever was a subsequent second volume. Bound in
dark green cloth over boards with gilt stamped spine and upper board
lettering. Minor edge wear. Clean and sound. No prior ownership marks.
