The second edition in English of one of the classics of English
land law, one which Holdsworth pairs with Littleton's Tenures; with
a significant portion devoted to the law as it affected women,
including a lengthy chapter on dower.

The official report of the board convened some sixteen years after
Porter's court martial in the matter called the "American Dreyfus
case", at which he was represented by Joseph Choate, resulting in
his vindication and his character's rehabilitation.
