page. (4),995,(1);277,(7)pp. Complete. First title printed in red & black. Cont. 
plain dark calf, rebacked. Title somewhat soiled. A number of leaves have 
minor chipping at the blank fore-edge. About 10 leaves with neatly repaired 
(re-margined) fore-edges, with no text loss. Overall a very good copy of a book

The first edition of the famous Saur German Bible, the second Bible printed 
in America and the first to be printed in any European language. This copy (1 
of 1200 printed) is variant B with the line, “Nebst einem Anhang” on the
