[xiv], 849 pages, Black & White photographs. Near Fine in a Very Good Dust
Jacket, Jacket in Mylar protector.
      Bernays, American nephew of Sigmund Freud, took his genius for shaping
public opinion and created the field of public relations as a profession.
His memoir details his associations with prominent events and personalities
in the socially pivotal years of the early 20th century. Bound in black
cloth over boards with gilt-stamped spine lettering, gilt facsimile
signature on upper board, black topstain. Touch of fading to extreme top
edges of boards, light sticker ghost at lower inner margin of rear
pastedown. Jacket has some shallow edge wrinkles and rubs and some mild
scattered abrasions to laminate. Jacket is NOT price-clipped. Overall a
bright, sound, and excellent copy of this important autobiography.
