WORLD WAR II: THE BIG RED ONE [1ST].
(Paducah, KY): (Turner Publishing Company), (1995). Limited edition,
Hardcover, Folio, 184 pages, Black & White photographs. Near Fine in a Very
Good Dust Jacket, Jacket in Mylar protector.
      Well illustrated history of the famous first division, which fought in
North Africa, the invasion of Sicily, the Normandy invasion, and the Battle
of the Bulge. Includes a section of "then and now" photos of many veterans,
with biographical notes. Bound in dark green paper over boards with
gilt-stamped spine and upper board lettering, pictorial endpapers. Prior
owner was a veteran of the Division and his name is stamped in gilt at lower
edge of upper board, and two photographs of him are laid in. Small bump to
upper board at lower fore corner, jacket has a few shallow edge wrinkles.
