YEATS, W. B. . New York: The Fountain
Press 1929. First Edition. Original blue cloth with gilt
decorations and lettering and two leather labels on the
spine. Copy #451 of 642 numbered copies SIGNED by the author
on the half title page of this scarce collection of poems.
This was poet John Frederick Nims's copy with his ownership
signature dated 1957 on the front blank. Housed in a
handsome oversized (8" x 11-1/2" with the book measuring
5-3/4" x 8-3/4") powder-blue morocco-backed burgundy linen
clamshell box with leather trim on the fore-edge and a
burgundy morocco gilt-lettered label on the gilt-decorated
spine which has five raised bands, handmade by Gray Parrot.
Small wrinkle to cloth on front cover and slight separation
between one or two signatures; box fine. About Fine in a
beautiful, custom-made clamshell box. $3000.00
