MacMillan Company 1960. First Edition. Author's first book,
made into a film. In the more commonly encountered second

in a larger, later hand. Typical sunning to edges and spine
of book with a small stain at the bottom blank margin of
three pages; soiling to the white background of the
dustwrapper which has a small crease at the bottom front
corner. Near Fine in a Very Good dustwrapper. Scarce when
       signed. $1500.00
