A contemporary inscription on the front wrapper describes the author of this 
literary miscellany as the Countess of Diechtrichstein (?), but there is no 
record of her name (possibly, Isabelle de Montolieu?), or a record of the work “
Anecdotes Suisses” referred to on the title.
