       by Thomas  Carlyle  (his  first  book), of  this  classic  of
       German  Literature.  Three octavo (4-1/2" x  7-3/8")  volumes
       bound in  late  19th  century   half  wine-red  morocco  with
       matching   corners,  five  raised   bands,  gilt  rules   and
