COLLECTION of the Great and Mercifull Deliverances of the Church and State of 
England, Since the Gospel Beganne Here to Flourish, from the Beginning of Queene 
Elizabeth. The Fourth Edition Revised. London: Aug. Math. For Robert 
Mylbourne. 1630. Sm. 4to. (8),282pp. Each page within a printed border. The text is 
illustrated with 21 fine half-page copper engravings depicting scenes in English 
history from 1558 to 1605. 17th century polished calf, outer hinges cracked 
but still holding soundly. This copy lacks the added engraved title and the 
final blank leaf. There are a few marginal tears and the final two leaves have a 
repair to the lower outer corners (not affecting the text).         $675.00

First printed in 1627. All of the early editions are quite scarce and many 
copies lack the added engraved title. STC #4643.
