Greetings All,

For your consideration, three volumes from the 11th U.S. Census of 1890. The
11th Census was the first to employ the punch card technology pioneered by
Herman Hollerith. Whereas in previous years the census was little more than
a "head count," Hollerith's technology allowed many more personal statistics
to be gathered and tabulated, giving a much more detailed snapshot of the
populace. Hollerith punch card technology later became the foundation of IBM
under the leadership of Thomas Watson, and was employed with devastating
effect by the Nazis in World War II.
