I have listed on eBay two important items of early Western scholarship
in Hebrew and Arabic:

"Juris Hebraeorum Leges CCLVI. Juxta Nomothesias Mosaicae ordinem,
atque seriem depromtae, & ad Judaeorum mentem; ductu Rabbi Levi,
Barzelonitae." Zurich: Bodmer, 1655. Hebrew text of the "Sefer
Hachinuch" with Latin translation and commentary by Swiss Protestant
theologian and Orientalist Johann Heinrich Hottinger (1620-67).

"Bibliothecae Arabicae Specimen," compiled by Christian Friedrich
Schnurrer, published in seven parts, 1799-1806, by the Litteris
Hopferianis, Tübingen, Germany. First edition of the first Western
scholarly bibiography of Arabic language and literature, including
Western printings of the Koran in Arabic and translations of the Koran
into European languages.
