1922. First Edition. The First English Edition, printed in France from 
the plates of the original edition. Copy #821 of 2000 numbered copies 
printed on handmade paper, of which some 500 are supposed to have been 
seized and burnt by United States Customs officials though the 
evidence for this is not conclusive. Rebound without the original 
wraps in full drab green cloth with gilt lettering on the spine. The 
eight pages of "Errata" are bound at the end before the colophon. An 
interesting copy in that gathering 6 (pages 81-96) have been 
misprinted and misimposed with pages 81, 84, 85, 88, 89, 92, 93, and 
96 repeated while pages 82, 83, 86, 87, 90, 91, 94, and 95 have been 
omitted. Quite possibly a unique printing error for this title. Top 
margin of one page chipped not affecting text. Covers solid but dull.
