Basel: Froben. 1556. Lg. folio (15” tall). 2 volumes in 1. ff.(10), + 882 
columns, and (3)pp.;896 columns + (4)pp. Indices. Both volumes with the final leaf, 
blank except for the large Froben woodcut device on the verso. Each title page 
also has the Froben device. Bound in modern full brown morocco. First title 
rather soiled, with a 1” gouge touching 1 line of text on the verso (not bad). 
Overall, a nice copy.     $500.00 (trade discount allowed)
The first 2 volumes (of ten) bound together of the complete writings of Saint 
Augustine. Volume I contains the chapter index for the entire 10 volume set.
