Annapolis: Record Printing Office, 1887. First printing, Full cloth, Octavo,
395 pages. Very Good.
      The classic popular history of Annapolis which was subscribed by the
State of Maryland in 1886. Contains much interesting and valuable
information extracted from the Maryland Gazette as well as much history that
had previously not been published. A veritable gold mine of Annapolis lore.
Full index, errata sheet bound in at rear. Bound in black cloth over boards
with blind embossed borders on both boards and gilt stamped spine lettering.
Moderate spotting to cloth, some faint foxing to endpapers, minor extremity
wear. Gilt spine lettering remains bright, hinges and binding are solid.
