(S.l.): Westvaco, 1962. Limited edition, Quarter leather, Octavo, 324 pages,
engraved cuts. Very good in a very good slipcase, Issued sans dust jacket.
      One of the earlier WESTVACO Christmas limited editions, designed by
Bradbury Thompson. These annual editions showcased the typographic
capabilities of the products offered by the West Virginia Pulp and Paper
Company (WESTVACO). The version of the story reproduced here includes
Melville's sequel, "The Story of Toby." Bound in light paper over boards
with illustration of an anchor on upper board, brown leather spine with
gilt-stamped title, illustrated endpapers, charcoal grey topstain. A few
spots of faint browning to boards and slipcase.    $50.00
