Good day, for your consideration

Of All Places, by Howell Cullinan. Norwood, MA; Plimpton Press; 1935; First in DJ, SIGNED. Blue cloth, red and yellow pictorial DJ. Book is very good plus, with some scattered small edge dents, otherwise clean, bright and tight. DJ very good, lightly toned, some wear, small nicks and couple short closed tears to top edge. Signed by the author to Dorothy O'Shea, at the Harvard Club of Boston, 1936.

In the 1930s, Howell Cullinan was a radio announcer in the Boston area for station WEEI. He did broadcast news and a special program called the Boston Traveler. He was known as 'The Voice' and had the nickname of 'Cully' or 'Cullie'. During the war, he was a commander in the Navy. He wrote one other book, "Pardon My Accent," about 1934. This book is a lighthearted travelogue of a journalist's round the world adventures. Copies of Cullinan's two books, let alone in DJ and signed, are rarely seen.

$85 postpaid to the trade (shipped US priority with delivery confirmation).
