(FORD,  Gerald).  THE OFFICIAL WARREN COMMISSION  REPORT
         ON THE  ASSASSINATION  OF PRESIDENT JOHN F.  KENNEDY.  Garden
         City: Doubleday  1964.  One of at least two editions of  this
         book published  in 1964, no edition stated. The complete text
         of the  commission  with an analysis and commentary by  Louis
         Nizer and  an  afterword  by Bruce Catton.  Illustrated  with
         photographs.  SIGNED  "Gerald R. Ford" on the front  endpaper
         and dated,  interestingly,  4/1/94, April Fool's Day, by  the
         former  President.  Signed hardcover editions of  the  report
         are no  longer  easy  to  come   by.  This  edition  was  not
         especially well made. The bulky text has strained the covers,
         and as  a  result  both  hinges are cracked  but  tight.  The
         dustwrapper  spine  is a bit darkened but  very  presentable.
