Printed for subscribers by John Wilson and Sons, 1902. Illustrated by 
75 plates, some lithographed in color. All plates called-for are 
present. Limited to 350 copies, of which this is # 9. 2 volumes. Half 
red morocco with ivory linen boards. Hand-made paper with watermarks, 
uncut.. 4to (10 1/4 x 8 inches). [xxvii + 313, xi + 368 pgs] Fine. 
This gorgeous production was made for a few elite anglers and sold 
only to them by subscription. The separate portfolio is not present. 
The only fault lies in two dark finger marks to on spine. Otherwise 
it is pristine. Some initials and titles are decorated by color. 
Additionally, this early copy was signed in pencil in the margin of 
each color plate by the artist, A. D. Turner. Turner's plates from 
this work, are being sold, UNSIGNED, online for between $650. and 
$850. each. Obviously scarce.  $2100.00
