         Illustrated  with 92 photographs. A family history written by
         Johnson's  mother  with  an introduction  by  the  president.
         INSCRIBED  and SIGNED by the President on the title page: "To
         ------/with  gratitude/Lyndon  B. Johnson."  Books  genuinely
         signed  by LBJ are quite scarce, and most of those are copies
         of THE  VANTAGE POINT, usually signed on a bookplate. This is
         perhaps  his scarcest book to find signed, as he tended to do
         so only  for  those  of intimate acquaintance.  Short  jagged
         tear to  the  front panel of the dustwrapper near  the  spine
         and a short  puncture to the rear of the dustwrapper near the
         spine. Fine in Very Good dustwrapper.                 $750.00
