plates,  With a small label, "This book belongs to E. M. Forster" and the 
bookplate of his aunt, Laura Mary Forster.  (Laura Forster helped the 
novelist financially during her lifetime, and on her death in 1924 Forster 
inherited a considerable sum which supported him comfortably for the rest 
of his life.  There is a substantial archive of correspondence between the 
two at King's College, Cambridge.)  $175.00
