      INSCRIBED and SIGNED by Howard on front free endpaper. A lovely
collection of photographs with insightful captions which together present a
fine study of the esthetics of old Chinese landscape designs. Bound in red
cloth over boards with black cloth spine, gilt spine title, black and yellow
title label laid onto upper board. Illustrated endpapers. Color frontispiece
painting by Howard, which is also SIGNED by him in pencil. Some rubs to
extremities, some rodent nibbles along fore edge of upper board, a few minor
spots of foxing to endpapers.    $50.00
