          Chatto  &  Windus 1880. First Edition. Decorated  red  cloth.
          BAL 3386.  The first one-volume edition published in England,
          a two-volume  edition  having  been published  a  few  months
          earlier.  With  314  illustrations  by "W.  Fr.  Brown,  True
          Williams,  B. Day and other artists--with also three or  four
          pictures  made  by  the author of this book  without  outside
          help."  An account of Twain's tour of Europe. This copy  with
          the publisher's  32-page  catalogue at the end dated  October
          1880. Hinges  lightly cracked but tight. Spine a bit  sunned.
          Near Fine, bright copy.                               $300.00
