LEVIN,  Ira.  ROSEMARY'S  BABY. New York:  Random  House
          (1967).  First  Edition. Levin's second novel, considered  by
          many to  be one of the two, along with THE EXORCIST,  classic
          demonic-possession  fictions  of the twentieth  century.  The
          1968 film  of  the same name was directed by  Roman  Polanski
          and starred  Mia  Farrow  and John Cassavetes.  SIGNED  "with
          best wishes/Ira  Levin"  on  the  front  endpaper.  A  little
          staining  to  the fore-edge of the text block  which  carries
          over to  the  very bottom corner of the front endpaper  and a
          little  to  the  inside front dustwrapper  flap.  Dustwrapper
          with minor  chipping  at the head and tail. Overall,  a  Very
          Good copy and quite scarce when SIGNED.               $750.00
