THE NEW YORK FASHION BAZAR. New York: George Munro 1884-
1885. Folio (8-1/2" x 12") bound in contemporary half black
leather with covers detached but present. This volume
collects ten issues from August 1884 (Volume V, #58) to May
1885 (Volume VI, #67) with the color cover for the October
issue used as a general title page. No other color covers
are present but all 10 foldout color fashion plates (two
with minor defects) are present as well as numerous
black-and-white engravings. A rather scarce and attractive
fashion publication on the order of HARPER'S BAZAR but
differing in its smaller format and use of color. Not in
Lomazow. Small dampstain to upper margin but with little
detriment to contents. Covers detached but contents quite
nice. $500.00
